I finally got around to adding a Guestbook to the front of my site. So please sign it. I edited it up so that it matches the rest of the site as well as i can. There are a couple other things i would like to do with it in the future. I want to make some of my own smilies. As well i hope i can code in a function where people can choose an avatar image to apply to their message. I have seen other guestbooks that had something like that. But i don't know which scripts they were running for that. This one is Advanced Guestbook 2.3.1 which I felt seemed like one of the better PHP Guestbook scripts out there.
Next on the agenda is the Gallery section. I hope to have that transfered into a PHP script called Coppermine Photo Gallery. It seems like it has some funtions that i find appealing. And less maintenance on my side of things. I seem to be slowly transfering my site over to PHP since it is alot easier to administer. Though i think i need to do alot more reading on the subject.
On an even brighter side of things. I got a job as a rough animator. I will be moving to Halifax by the end of January. I'll be working at Collideascope Digital. This will be cool since a number of friends from Sheridan college have been moving to Halifax to work for various studios, and a few of them at Collideascope too. So i think things will be fun there.
The only bad thing about this is that i just finished moving to a newplace at the beginning of the month. The guy i moved in with is a great roommate. Hard to find a really good roommate sometimes that you can get along with. I just move in and then have to tell him that in two months i am moving again. Oh well. At least i got a job.
Yay....an update!!
Well i have been making updates for the last couple weeks...but nothing major. Mostly been trying to finish updating my demo reel and preparing the animation section of my Portfolio. I am planning to do a number of big changes to the website soon. As you can see already i have updated the welcome page. The gif animation will hopefully be replaced shortly with a flash animation as i learn flash while cleaning up the animation. After that the rest of the animation i do will most likely be done in flash. Unless i decide to play around with some 3D animation...but i doubt that will be for a while yet.
I am trying to update the fonts and such that i use with something more stylish...or at least with things like the menu items. I'll see what other ideas i come up with.
